Events and Resources for Families with Special Needs

God made each person in His image, and everyone has a purpose and inherent value. But many individuals with special needs and their families don’t experience this hope. So Arise offers a wide range of opportunities meant to encourage and empower the whole family.

We want to see each person rise to their unique purpose and shine their light for everyone to see!

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. Isaiah 60:1

(All are open to anyone - not just those who attend IBC)

sunday services & certain special events

We have 3 classrooms specifically designed for individuals with special learning and sensory needs. We provide a safe, interactive, and loving environment to learn about God and build friendships with others. Our rooms are staffed with caring, trained volunteers, and ratios are kept low to guarantee individualized attention.

Pals are one-on-one volunteers who help children participate in activities and interact appropriately with their same-age peers.

Thursday nights from 6:30-8:00

Our Bible study is a place where adults with special learning needs can grow in their relationship with God and experience meaningful connection with others. First, third, and fifth Thursdays are Bible study, fourth Thursdays are service projects, and second Thursdays are fun events.

once a month on saturday from 5:30-8:30

We give individuals with special needs and their siblings a night of fun and socialization, while parents get a few hours to recharge and refresh! Free of charge and all ages are welcome.

Contact us to register.

We also partner with local organizations to better serve the community. We believe we are better when we work together!

victory flows

Victory Flows provides fun events  for the whole family.  This includes two 5-hour events per year, as well as various other opportunities such as painting classes, sporting activities and more.

Altruistic provides a variety of services for individuals with special needs. For the past several years, IBC has hosted their summer camp, which is a huge blessing to the community! Camp is for individuals with special needs ages 5-21 and runs every week during the summer. Click the button to visit their website or register for their programs!

for families of special needs

For Families Of Special Needs is a non-profit organization specializing in assisting individuals with disabilities and their families to understand the benefits available for them, and plan for the future. Twice a year, IBC hosts a resource fair so parents can learn and find out what is available for their loved ones.
